Planning Stages

During our discussion, we'll discuss your personal information, community and support systems, daily task management, and safety requirements, such as equipment needs or personal care. You'll also have the chance to share your goals and explore effective ways to execute your plan. Our goal is to pinpoint the support services necessary to utilise your NDIS plan successfully and help you implement and navigate it with ease.

During the NDIS plan implementation phase, review your plan with a trusted person, understand it fully, and don't rush decisions regarding your funding. Seek an implementation meeting with your NDIS planner to address any concerns. Ask for assistance in finding suitable service providers from your NDIS planner or support coordinator. Take your time and discuss with a trusted person before deciding how to use your funding to ensure alignment with your goals and needs.

Plan reassessments are conducted to review and update NDIS participant plans. During the check-in, participants can discuss the success of the previous plan, achieved goals, areas that need improvement, managing plan funding, changing funding management, setting new goals, and any changes in the participant's situation. Participants can request a plan reassessment at any time, and the NDIA will respond within 21 days by varying the plan, replacing it, or deciding not to reassess.
